Radium PCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit, Toyota Tundra (2007-2021)

The Radium Engineering 20-0238-FL PCV Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit installs inline with the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve on the 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra. At idle, low-load cruising and deceleration, the PCV hose sees metered vacuum that would normally draw crankcase vapour, unspent fuel and oil sludge straight into the intake manifold. The catch can traps these contaminants before they reach the engine.

Keeping oil out of the intake, throttle body and manifold effectively raises octane, can improve performance from cleaner inlet air, and can lower hydrocarbon emissions. The kit includes everything needed for a complete installation.

Fluid Lock

A conventional catch can that isn't emptied regularly will eventually overflow, pouring collected contaminants into the intake system. Radium's patented Fluid Lock® mechanism prevents the reservoir from overfilling and traps collected fluids until the can is emptied. Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, so no additional inline check valve is required.

Collection & Emptying

Collection rates vary from vehicle to vehicle, so there is no set emptying interval. PCV catch cans tend to collect more than CCV catch cans. Check the level with the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving and repeat as needed. Empty by unscrewing the lower reservoir, or fit the optional Radium Petcock Drain Kit where there is space under the can.
