Link G4X MonsoonX ECU – Four-Cylinder Wire-In Engine Management
The Link G4X MonsoonX brings configurable fuel and ignition control, boost control and motorsport functions to builds that need more capability than an entry-level ECU. Available from JDM Mods NQ, this compact standalone ECU suits naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines whose wiring and control requirements fit its available inputs and outputs.
Four injector drives and four ignition drives support up to four cylinders or two rotors with sequential injection and direct spark. Six auxiliary outputs, four digital inputs and a built-in MAP sensor provide flexibility for a carefully planned installation.
Fuel, Ignition and Engine Protection
- G4X platform with PCLink tuning, shared processor architecture and firmware support across the range
- Flex-fuel strategies with a suitable fuel-composition sensor and calibration
- Configurable engine protection, trigger oscilloscope and CAN keypad support
- Open-loop and closed-loop boost control
- VVT control, including up to two fully variable closed-loop cams where the installation supports them
- Closed-loop lambda functions using suitable external wideband measurement hardware
- Eight custom mathematics blocks, with up to 30 characters per block
- Compatible aftermarket display communication
Motorsport Functions and I/O Planning
Launch control, anti-lag, gear-shift control and paddle-shift control are supported. These functions cannot necessarily operate together: each uses inputs and outputs, so your tuner must allocate the available hardware before choosing the ECU.

Installation Requirements
This is a wire-in ECU. A Link A Loom or compatible A Pin Kit is required and sold separately. Confirm the engine trigger pattern, sensors, ignition hardware, fuel system and desired control functions with your installer. Wideband oxygen sensors require a suitable external controller or compatible CAN wideband system; the MonsoonX is not sold as a built-in wideband-controller ECU.
Professional installation and calibration are recommended. Use PCLink and the current installation documentation to assign pins, configure sensors and establish engine-protection limits. The ECU's quoted weight is the unit weight, not the packed shipping weight.
