The MonsoonX will control up to 2 rotors or 4 cylinders with sequential injection and direct spark. Or, it can be used for up to eight cylinders using batch fire.

This makes it ideal for naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines that just need a retune and one or two extra features, so you don’t need to jump up to one of our higher-level ECUs.

The MonsoonX processing unit has been upgraded to provide 512 megabytes of data logging, meaning you can log much more data at a faster sample rate. Control loops are also more precise compared to its G4+ predecessor, along with advancements such as single precision floating point format fuel tables, better resolution within ignition timing and faster communications. These upgrades make the G4X Monsoon a true powerhouse in a small shell.

The G4X logging features 512 megabytes at 32bit using up to 250 channels, each limited to up to 1kHz per channel (by the Operating System), with a maximum of 100 kSamples/sec.

With the MonsoonX you have all the tuning capabilities of the AtomX, but you can also choose to run some of the following features: Launch Control, Anti-lag, VVT Control and Closed Loop Boost Control. It also comes with a built in 4 bar or 7 bar MAP sensor further reducing installation cost. Now featuring Knock Control.

Note: The MonsoonX will run any of the above features, but it cannot run them all at once. The number of features you can run is dependent on how many of the limited Inputs and Outputs each feature needs.

WARRANTY COVERAGE Link Engine Management Ltd warrants that its Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation, for the lifetime of the Product, subject to the limitations outlined below. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Product and is non-transferable. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received, Link Engine Management Ltd will, at its sole discretion: repair the defective Product, or replace it with a new or refurbished Product of comparable function. If a Product is found to be defective, it must be returned to the original place of purchase along with proof of purchase. Any repaired or replaced Product is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS This warranty does not cover: Products that have been damaged or impaired due to incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, accident, or external causes, Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage, Products that have been modified or used with incompatible software or components, Are installed in highway-registered vehicles (Products are intended for off-road use only). CONSUMER RIGHTS This warranty provides specific legal rights and may be supplemented by local consumer protection laws in your country. Where applicable, you may have additional rights under national legislation, including but not limited to: The Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand), The Australian Consumer Law, The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (USA), The EU Consumer Rights Directive. Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights you may have under such laws. LIMITATIONS Link Engine Management Ltd is not liable for any: Indirect or consequential losses (such as vehicle damage, loss of income, or labour costs), Damages arising from the use of the Product outside its intended purpose, Failures caused by third-party software or incorrect setup of user-configurable features. SOFTWARE LICENCE The Product includes a user-configurable software programme, which must be installed using the latest version available from the Link Engine Management website. The warranty is voided if: The incorrect or outdated software version is used, or The user attempts modifications or setups that aren’t supported. The software included in the Product is licensed, not sold. It may only be used in accordance with Link’s license terms. Link Engine Management Ltd grants the user a non-exclusive license to use the software: Only in the country where it was originally acquired, On a single device at a time, In accordance with the applicable End User Licence Agreement (EULA). If the license is terminated by you or by Link (e.g. for breach of terms), the software must be permanently deleted.
