JDM Mods NQ Returns Policy.


Please Note:

ALL mechanical products purchased from us MUST be installed by a professional. We will NOT warrant or accept a return for any faulty or failed products if you cannot provide a receipt for proof of professional installation. All other products will be subject to approval. These terms are FINAL.


Refunds via PAYPAL/Afterpay/Zip Money will incur the payment gateways fee IF refund is initiated due to customer ordering incorrectly, mistakenly, or within 10 days or cancel with in the website time frame given, PayPal no longer refund their 2.5% fee... Customer will be liable.. If refund is initiated due to unable to fulfil order or JDM Mods NQ error no fee will be charged.

WHAT can be returned?

Not all items are subject to our standard returns policy. Items that are special order are subject to a return policy outline between JDM Mods NQ and the customer at time of purchase.

Once a product has been test fitted, installed or used it can no longer be returned.

Special order items from overseas or special order will be accepted for return but a 20% restocking fee will be applied.

WARRANTY Products:

For warranty on products within the warranty period please email us directly.

Most suppliers offer 1 to 2 years warranty on their products, but this is subject to approval once the items have been inspected and tested by us or the supplier.

If you wish to know a products warranty period please contact us.

WHEN do items need to be returned by?

Customers have 14 days from the day they receive their order to lodge a return request via email to "The Manager" at, 7 days from the time approval has been given.

WHERE do items need to be returned to?

Once the request for return has been approved by JDM Mods NQ, customers must arrange for their item(s) to be sent to 93 Ingham Rd West End Townsville QLD 4810. Customers will be supplied with a product return form to include with the item(s).

HOW do customers return items?

All returns must be accompanied with the original invoice and product return form for the item(s) they wish to return.

SHIPPING for returns?

All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customers. However, in the event that an incorrect item has been sent by JDM Mods NQ and associated distribution partners JDM Mods NQ will cover return shipping costs. For warranty or faulty products, the customers must return the item at their cost and if the item is to be replaced under warranty or found to be faulty the return freight charge will be refunded.

For customer who purchase using the PayPal payment gateway may be eligible for shipping return compensation with PayPal. Please visit PayPal website for more info:

CREDIT for returns?

Customers will be credited through the original gateway purchase method.

In store return option?

Customers are more than welcome to return items in person providing that the return has already been approved by JDM Mods NQ. Please follow the email return procedure for this.

Packing materials?

All returns must be in original package unless previously discussed. Packaging that is damaged and in an "unsellable" condition will incur a 20% repackaging fee or may be returned to the customer.

JDM Mods NQ cannot be held accountable for any additional costs involved outside the original purchase. This includes, but not limited to loss of income, additional transport costs, labour costs or any other costs directly or indirectly associated with the original purchase.

JDM Mods NQ Shipping Information

Please note all for all customer purchasing bulky items such as radiators, intercoolers, seats and more.

We are unable with this new website to charge shipping to certain areas around Australia which would need to be charged due to the high shipping cost for the location.

For this reason, any customers purchasing bulky items in rural areas outside of major cities, NT or WA will be charged freight for the locations.

ALL seats will be required to pay a freight charge anywhere in Australia.

ABSOLUTELY NO other bulky item such as the ones mentioned will have free freight unless in a major city.

General Shipping Information for all Domestic and International Customers.

Please note that all shipping estimated delivery times displayed on the website are estimates only. The below information will give you a more accurate delivery estimate.


PLEASE NOTE: As we now offer free freight for domestic and international customers this isnt the case for all products! Most large/Bulky items do not have free freight as they simply cost to much to ship. Items like seats, Wheels/Rims, Intercooler kits, Radiators and large items like these do not have free shipping. Please email us first to confirm if you are unsure. This mostly applies for International customers looking to purchase larger items. If you make a purchase with an expensive shipping charge you will be notified before the item is shipped to pay the difference. 


1. Shipping From Instore:

JDM Mods NQ is located in Townsville far North Queensland Australia and logistically considered “Rural”

We use Australia Post instore for the smaller items we stock and ship all over Australia and the world.

Please note the freight times from us to other parts of the country below.


Domestic Times:

Express Freight Excluding Rural Areas:

Southeast QLD and NQ – 1-2 Days

NSW, VIC, TAS, SA, ACT – 2-4 Days

WA & NT – 3-5 Days

Rural Express Deliveries please add another 1-2 Days

Standard Freight Excluding Rural Areas:

Southeast QLD and NQ – 2-3 Days

NSW, VIC, TAS, SA, ACT – 4-6 Days

WA & NT – 8-12 Days

Rural Standard Deliveries please add another 2-4 Days


2. Bulky Freight Items:

Larger and bulkier items like Radiators, Intercoolers, Seats for example will usually be shipped with a various range of different couriers like TOLL, TNT, Couriers Please, FASTWAY to name a few.

These types of items will require a physical address with someone to sign for the package.

For this reason, we suggest sending your order to your place of work if you will not be home during the day.

Please note: JDM Mods NQ, DOES NOT and WILL NOT agree to leave you order unattended! We take no responsibility for any items that go missing or are lost that were asked by the freight company to leave in a “Safe Place” on the buyer’s behalf.

All orders of high value must be signed for.

This is final.


3. International Freight:

We ship our products all over the world daily and we use Australia Post eParcel for this. Generally, the freight times do vary but their express service would have to be on par with FedEx. If you wish to use FedEx please let us know before completing your purchase.

For express parcels going to the US and Canada for example you would be looking at 8-12 Business days.

Please check if your country is currently open to for freight from Australia and check their estimated delivery times at:

All international orders must be signed for by the receiver. This is final.

All international orders are not insured when freighted. If you wish for your order to be fully insured for a full replacement in the event your order arrives damaged in transit or goes missing, please contact us for a quote before you complete your purchase.

JDM Mods NQ does not take any responsibility for any international orders damaged or lost in transit after leaving us or any of our partners.

Australia Post will only refund up to the value of $100AUD for items that are lost or found to be damaged in transit.

International shipping insurance with Australia Post is charged at 2.5% of the total parcel value and up to a maximum of $5000.

This is final.


4. Shipping from Partner Companies/Suppliers:

Being that we are located in Far North QLD creates a logistical nightmare for us with freight costs. As we mainly like to ship direct from our store, sometimes its quicker and easier to have your purchase shipped directly from our partner companies or suppliers which is beneficial to you the customer with getting your purchase quicker!

All order shipped from our suppliers must be signed for and generally a physical address is required. Our partner companies take no responsibility for any order damaged in transit, lost in transit or asked to be left unattended by the customer at a nominated address which goes missing. Nor do we at JDM Mods NQ.

If you wish to have your purchase fully insured for transit, please contact us before completing your order.

5. Freight for Returns or Warranties:

As stated in the “Returns Policy” all returns are to be paid by the buyer and the refund less the original freight. Warranty returns are to be paid by the buyer also and the freight will be refunded to the buyer once the item has been inspected/tested and deemed faulty. Replacements will be sent back to the customer at our expense.

This is final.


6. Freight Insurance:

We highly recommend that you the customer that makes any purchase of significant value whether it be domestic or international, get a quote for your order to be fully insured.

We don’t ever have an issue with the freight companies, and we are very thorough when it comes to packing people’s orders so that the items are never damaged in transit. But just like the freight companies, we take no responsibility once the package leaves our hands or one of our suppliers.

Freight insurance can be as little as a few dollars more up to the likes of 100 more. A radiator to the US for example which costs $480AUD is about an extra $20AUD to be fully covered and customers have used it countless times for peace of mind.

Australia Post parcel insurance is charged at 2.5% of the total parcel value and up to a maximum of $5000.

Please consider this before completing your purchase.


7. Damaged Goods on Arrival:

If your order has arrived damaged, DO NOT OPEN THE ITEM. Please take as many photos of the satchel or box as you can to capture all the damage. A video is even better.

Then open the item and inspect your order. If the item is in good condition and no signs of damage, then that is fine.

If your order does look or is damaged, please document this also. Then notify us as soon as possible. As this is generally a freight company matter, we still need to be notified and we will still try and help you the best that we can.

Getting compensated from freight companies for damaged or lost items may be a drawn-out process so please be patient and we will help you as best we can.

Please note that Australia Post will only refund an item up to the value of $100AUD for both domestic and international parcels for any reason including damaged items and lost or missing items. Please refer to section “6. Freight Insurance” for having your order fully insured.
