However, the front port is not useable unless the OEM engine harness is modified. Appropriate fittings must be selected based on the specific application. Ample space around the fuel rail port(s) is necessary for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel pulse dampers. These engines use a unique OEM fuel injector that is not replicated in the aftermarket. Air-assist intake manifolds require the Radium injector seats in order to use universal aftermarket fuel injectors, as shown in the picture below. When the provided Radium injector seats are installed into these air-assist intake manifolds, an aftermarket injector that is 60mm long with 11mm upper O-ring and 14mm lower O-ring must be used.
